Chili Season

Despite the dynamic travelling restrictions, most of us are craving a holiday right about now. However, although it may not be feasible to actually go somewhere we can still always spice up things in our kitchen to imitate the rich flavours of various local cuisines that we would be getting whilst travelling. Chilli powder is used to add pungency and spice to dishes, it can be made from various chilli peppers and oftentimes the pepper used to depend on the cultural setting. In addition to its benefits in terms of flavour, chilli powder also aids in weight loss, enhances cognitive function, and helps build immunity to fight diseases.

Lean ground beef

Tomato sauce

Taco shells

Chilli powder


Atlantic Sea Salt

Whole Black Peppercorn

Optional: shredded cheese lettuce, chopped tomatoes, red onion, source cream, guacamole


Instructions: Add the 1 lb of beef to a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat. Add spices and stir. Cook until the meat is cooked through (6-8 minutes) Reduce the heat to medium and add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce and 1/4 cup of water. Stir to combine and cook (7-8 minutes) Warm the taco shells and then fill each with two tablespoons of beef.
