Garlic - A Little Goes a Long Way

Although garlic may be your go-to in the kitchen or something you tend to avoid due to its lingering affect on your breath, most people don’t realize the surprising health benefits of it. It is highly nutritious but has very few calories, it helps combat sickness by boosting functions of the immune system, can reduce blood pressure, and improves cholesterol levels. For those who tend to stray away from using garlic, try incorporating it in more of your dishes to reap these health benefits, just don't forget to chew some gum after you're done with your meal.

2 egg yolks

½ teaspoon dry mustard

1 crank of Atlantic Sea Salt 

Lemon juice

⅔ cup light tasting olive oil

1 roasted garlic with skins removed

Instructions: Combine the egg yolks, dry mustard, salt and lemon juice in a food processor or blender and process for 20 seconds While the food processor is running slowly drizzle a thin stream of oil which should take around 2 minutes Add the garlic and juice of ½ a lemon and process for another 20-30 seconds to incorporate completely. Add some garlic seasoning on top and store it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to two weeks. Snap a pic and tag us if you try this recipe out!
