Pumpkin Seed Season

With the autumnal season coming round the bend we are here to remind you of the benefits of pumpkin seeds! Although these seeds are small they are packed with valuable nutrients, rich in antioxidants, iron, zinc, and magnesium. Pumpkin seeds being full of antioxidants also means they may help protect you against disease and reduce inflammation. These seeds are also a great source of fiber.

¾ cup of pumpkin seeds

1 tablespoon ½ teaspoon Atlantic sea salt

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon spanish smoked Paprika powder

⅛ teaspoon Tropical Pepper


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. In a bowl combine the pumpkin seeds, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika and black pepper. Next grease a sheet pan with olive oil and evenly spread the seasoned pumpkin seeds on the sheet pan. Bake the seeds until they are toasted and crunchy for about 12 to 15 minutes. Finally transfer the roasted pumpkin seeds to a bowl to cool down.
